Education is the future of our life. Education is what really teaches us the skills we need to explore and learn. I want to keep pursuing in higher education because I believe that higher inflation my education level will provide me with skills I will specifically use in the real world environment. Higher education will guide me into having a focus in exploring many interest during my education study process. Some activities I’m apart of is the education club, which in this club we really talk about what’s going on in the education system, what we experienced and seen. We have activities where we act like teachers and see our methods of approaching students parents event’s. Another activity is global kids, this is where we got to help the earth and gained awareness of problems the world is facing today. For example we went to a meeting with 159 other students from all over the world. The-meeting topics was about the justice system and racism. It was an all day event. We first got to know everyone in our groups. After words we explained and shared some experience if we had. Then go more so into the topic such as jail system. We mentioned how a lot of people going into jail at the time. We look into statements and numbers. We noticed how young people are getting into jail so we planned a way to prevent this from happening again. We decided to have more funding some children can have somewhere fun to go to whenever they choose like a game house or a activities group. The racism group did the same activities the only difference is that we made a fake blog on poster paper and posted about racism and taught the other groups. We explained what it is and what to do if we see it. Providing information groups. Something I’m most passionate about is education. I believe every child has the right and chance to get an education for themselves. I believe as a teacher to be, we have to make children fell welcome into the room so they can be comfortable and speak their mind. Every child is smart and has so many different experience, as well culture difference, where we all can learn from each other and grasp something new. While making connections with that to a math or reading activity. I love seeing children learn something and seeing them use it in their everyday life. It means they understand what they had learn and that’s important to me. I want children to explore and be creative. Have art projects hands on activities. Children are different and learn in many different ways using fives senses. Seeing this explants my ideas to help the children abilities to learn and have fun. Seeing a smile on a child face is the best and rewarding. Letting children know I respect and encourage and believe in them helps their development growing up and they be able to open up. Children are our next generation our next future.

Having a speech delay problem at a young age wasn’t always the highlight of my day. Thought grade school to high school, I always had problems expressing myself and just talking in general. I was so scared to speak because if I said something wrong I thought that my classmates would laugh at me. I had a speech delay and needed extra help on assignments. I was pulled out 3 times a week to help my speech problem cuz as speaking and pronunciation. A few times getting pulled out a kid in my class ask why I get pulled out? You’re a looser because you go to the ladies and get help. He also s tarted saying I will always have this problem and called me names. Yes I felt horrible for a while but I stop being sorry for myself. I talk to my teacher and my parents who encouraged me to just try my best. I practice my speech every second I got the chance. When my mom would write things down I would try to read it correctly and clearly. I would read books to my parents and my self. I would practice during the teacher activities. Few months by I noticed I was speaking clearly and have a better time understanding. I would answer questions in class, I would read and got better grades. I was more confident in myself. I remember telling the child that I’m not dumb, no one the same. I’m different and that okay. I have a speech problem it doesn’t mean I’m hopeless it means I might have to practice more then you or others. But I will and can get up to where I need to be. We should treat others how we want to be treated and help one another. I’m special I’m different from you and that’s okay. This is one way I overcome my situation. Many children have learning disabilities and that’s perfectly okay. We can accomplish so much things in school and outside of school. After this I was able to accept myself who what I had and have problems with and keep reminding myself that it’s up to myself to do better but not let anyone bring you down prove them wrong not for them but for you’re self.
