Hello, My name is Andy Lin and I'm a music composer and I play the piano. I've started playing the piano when I was around 8 years old. I didn't think I would want to do music as a career until the end of my sophomore year in high school, by then I started taking music more seriously, even though I was told by family members that it was too late for me in this field. I graduated high school in 2018 and attended Franklin Pierce University majoring in Music Technology. I found my passion in composing music for film, specifically for anime when I was a freshmen in college at Franklin Pierce University. I was always amazed by the soundtracks in anime and emotionally touched by them that I started looking into film scoring. Unfortunately, Franklin Pierce doesn't offer a film scoring major or study so I decided to apply and transfer to Berklee College of Music. It took me a few years but I got provisional accepted when I was junior. I knew that if I went to Berklee I would be staying more than 4 years in college, but I was very passionate about film scoring that I decided to take the risk.
