I have always wanted to become an elementary school teacher and teach young learners everything they need to know in the future. I am in a program call the teachers academy of Maryland where I learn everything I need to know about the educational field. Outside of school I spend my time getting more experience in the work field. Working at Rita's Italian Ice has been great because I have learned a lot about how to talk to people and how to get along with co-workers. My family have always supported my decisions with what I want to do in the future and they would do anything to get me to where I want to go.

Baseball has always been in my life since I went to a Texas Rangers game. I showed up an hour before the game started, and a player approached me and tossed me a ball. I did not know how to act during this time because I wanted to celebrate and hug my Mom for bringing me to this game. After the Rangers won the game, I forced my parents to let me play tee ball, and they said yes. After I played my first season of baseball, I fell in love. I continued baseball every year, and I still play. Baseball has had such an effect on my life, as well as my family. I am so passionate about baseball because I want to be the person who gives the ball to a little kid and makes someone play baseball. Since then, I have not stopped playing Baseball and will never forget the moment I got a ball from a Texas Rangers player.
Baseball games allow community members to come and watch us play. Our games were always full of surrounding communities and family and friends. Off the field, we would spend time at soup kitchens once a month and hand out food to struggling people from the community. My baseball team also collected money from kind donors, and we bought presents for families who could not afford any presents. One of my favorite things to do is see a massive smile on a young kid's face when they open up a present and see their favorite action figure. Lastly, at the end of every game, we would allow kids from the community to come onto the field and run bases with us and their families. The kids loved doing this, and every time, it made me so happy because they would smile and have fun overall.
Being passionate and sticking with baseball my whole life has been the best decision ever because I have learned so much about myself and others. Walking onto a field before a game will never get old because I know I have people supporting me in the stands. Seeing my community come together to watch and help my team was always pleasant. If I had one thing to say to someone trying to follow their dreams, it is to stick with what you want to do and not think of the negative things in life.
