Waking up in the morning as a little kid I could always smell the different aromas of food being made and it was always made by my grandma. My grandma would be my biggest influence that got me into cooking and baking. Even though my whole family cooks no one ever wanted to take the time to teach me, except her. My best memories growing up have her in them whether she was teaching me something in the kitchen or just caring for me. She taught me more then just cooking, she taught me how to clean up after myself from a young age and keep my work station clean. She taught me responsible and pride in your work. A dish doesn’t turn out right at first, well then I guess we’re trying again and tweaking the recipe. She didn’t let me give up on my work, she helped me learn that I love to cook and I’d love to carry what I learned through her into dishes I can make for others.
