I've always been a huge Spider-Man fan since I was young and I'd have to say Tom Holland is overall my favorite Spider-Man. I say this not because he's the newest but because I feel like he played the role in a way Tobey and Andrew didn't. I know his suit gives him all the new tech and fighting modes but he had the strength on his own. Spider-man is a teen who supposed to live a normal life and be innocent and I think Tom portrayed the innocence so well. I also think Tom has such a baby face that his Peter Parker makes you actually see him as a teenager. I love Tom Holland as an actor and Spider-Man was actually the first movie I seen him in, I think it's kind of ironic that the actor who played my favorite Superhero became my favorite actor in the end. I think Tom's Spider-Man portrayed the Superhero in a different light, especially being brought into the Avengers timeline and growing/fighting along side them. I also became known as the Spider-Man fan in my family, if someone doesn't know what to get me they always go for something Spider-Man as it's always guaranteed to be liked by me. In my room I have a whole wall dedicated to Spider-Man stuff and it's still growing. At night I have to sleep with my weighted Spider-Man plush on my right, my Spider-Man head plush on my left and my small Miles Morales pillow under my head. It's like a little ritual I have, if I don’t have one of them I won't be able to sleep.

#BookTok has made my "To Be Read (TBR)" list so long and I wouldn't have it any other way. I've found so many good books/series through #BookTok. There are creators for every genre and they know how to advertise a book so well. I love a good romance book and the ones #BookTok has recommended me are "Icebreaker" "Lucky Hit" "Corrupted Chaos" "Haunting/Hunting Adeline" "It Ends With Us" and some series are "Legacy of Gods" "Hardy Billionaire Brothers" "L.O.R.D.S." "Chernov Bratva" "Made" "Never After" "Dreamland Billionaires" "Pucking Wrong" "Kings of Sin" "Twisted" "Off-Campus" there's so many other romance books I have on my list but theses are definitely my favorite ones (so far). I've also been recommend some great horror books that everyone should read and that's "Clown in a Cornfield" "Hide and Seeker" "The Haunting" and "The Twisted Ones" they are all such good an entertaining books. Most of these #BookTok titles are the most recommended throughout the whole #BookTok community. There are always new books being recommended and I have about one hundred books that I have yet to read. Anyone who's in a reading slump should check #BookTok and you're guaranteed to find a book that will get you out of your slump, I say that because it's what happened to me and some of my friends. My mom has also seen #BookTok and will often tell me about a book she wants to read and follow up with the fact that she seen it on #BookTok. My TikTok "for you" page is 90% book recommendations, and the accuracy of these recommendations are fascinating. I am constantly finding books that are similar to old books I read, I find new series and even books that are interconnected with one another. #BookTok is a great place to find reviews and get a glimpse into the book itself. Yes you can find reviews of the books but watching a video that gives you quotes and come from people who read the same books as you is so much better. #BookTok is big on posting quotes and pages of books to reel you in and gain your attention. I bought around ten to fifteen books (physical and digital) because I seen a page on TikTok and instantly needed to read said book. There hasn't been a book that I've found on #BookTok that I haven't liked. I am a #BookTok supremest till the day I die. I recommend to all my friends if they're looking for a book the best place to look is #BookTok.

My episode would be an Austin and Ally and Hannah Montana crossover. The episode would be titled "The Best of Rockers and Writers" I'd use this title as a mix of Hannahs song "The Best of Both Worlds" and episode one of Austin and Aly titled "Rockers and Writers." The episode would start with Austin getting invited to perform at this big celebrity event in Los Angeles, but the catch is Hannah got the same exact letter. The person sending out letters made a mistake and double booked the two without realizing. The event will be packed with singers and celebrities from around the world, it's being titled as "The event of the century" and nobody wants to miss it. Austin and Hannah both agree to perform for the event. Austin and Ally start planning for this event with the help from Trish and Dez, they brainstorm which songs Austin should perform as the letter stated he has a time slot of four songs. Trish wants Austin to perform her hit song "You Wish You Were Me" but that got shut down quickly. Dez thinks Austin should perform "Illusion" and "I Got That Rock and Roll." After hours of planning they decide on Illusion, I Got That Rock and Roll, Steal Your Heart and Heartbeat. Meanwhile Hannah is wondering which songs she should perform. Hannah knows she wants to perform "Best of Both Worlds" and "Nobody's Perfect" but she doesn't know what other two songs she should perform. Hannah's best friend Lilly thinks she should play "Rockstar" and her dad Billy thinks she should play "You'll Always Find Your Way Back Home", after talking it over Hannah decides on her songs. Both PopStars are heading to Los Angeles with the excitement radiating through them, but the nerves are kicking in. Both PopStars end up at the same gas station along the way. Ally is the first to notice Hannah and instantly tells Austin, Dez and Trish. Dez screams while Trish proceeds to hit his arm while telling him to act normal. Austin walks up to Hannah to introduce himself and they get to talking. Hannah tells Austin that she's actually on her way to Los Angeles to perform for the event and Austins face lights up with excitement as he tells Hannah that he's also going to Los Angeles to perform for the event. The two soon part ways and get back on the road to get to their destination. The day of the event is almost here, Ally tells Austin he should try to get Hannah to feature on his new song and Hannah agrees to do the song. The two immediately start working on the song as they have three days till the event. They perfect the song the day before their performances. The day is here and Austin and Hannah have just received the news that the team double booked and only one of them would be able to perform. Both PopStars want to perform and are left with a dilemma. Billy proposes they perform together and Ally chimes in agreeing saying they can perform the song they wrote the other day. "What about the other three songs?" Jackson chimes in. After a heated debate and arguing between the teens Austin and Hannah decide that Hannah will go out first and perform "Best of Both Worlds" and Austin will come on stage to perform "I Got That Rock and Roll" they'll then sing their new song together to close out. Dez came up with the idea that they should only do three songs to keep it even.

A close friend of mines sister was murdered a year ago. Both girls were 15 at the time and had an ongoing dispute. One day they decided they were going to fight and end their dispute, but the girl had other intentions. Before going outside to fight she went into her brother's closet and grabbed his knife. She put the knife in the back of her pants and went outside, the girls started fighting and the girl fell, my friends sister went to step back and leave but the girl grabbed her leg preventing her. She pulled out the knife and started swinging it towards my friend's sister. She stabbed her in the chest. My friend rushed her sister back home while the others called 9-1-1, her mom performed CPR on her daughter until the ambulance got there but there was nothing to do. She passed away in her mother's arms on the front lawn. This incident shook many people as both girls were so young. The murder is still currently on trial and is being charged as an adult. With our society today I don't think there will ever come a time when people genuinely feel safe. I want to use my degree to make people feel somewhat safe again. Nobody truly feels safe anymore, we are constantly worrying about doing the wrong thing as it might just end up getting us killed. It's the sad truth, nowadays when people are upset the first thing they do is resort to violence. I want to the communities I work around to trust me and feel as if anything were to ever go wrong or if they even had a suspicion of something bad happening they feel safe to call me and my colleagues to help them and not wait until someone's life has been taken before they decide to call for help. I want to bring communities together and reduce the crime in said communities. Nobody should be scared living in their communities, they should be a safe place for people, where they feel welcomed and close with their neighbors and the surrounding houses. All it takes is one event in a community to drive and tear the people apart. I decided to minor in communication for the sole purpose of knowing the right and wrong ways to speak to specific groups of people. I want to know how to grab the attention of those around me in a good way. I know that minoring in communications it will further help me achieve my goal of bringing communities back together in the future.

I grew up watching crime shows with my mom and was always fascinated by the way investigators went about things when it came to examining crime scenes, testing evidence, investigating suspects and catching criminals. Me and my mom constantly watched fictional crime shows and true crime shows just because we both found them interesting. I loved to watch the way detectives went about interrogations and how they collected evidence and pieced together facts. I would constantly ask my mo moo buy the "unsolved case" games they sold at the store just I could be a detective for a couple hours and solve cases. I even downloaded a handful of detective games on my phone to keep me occupied. I even own a couple true crime books. I don’t know where this fascination came from but it's been one of the longest/oldest fascinations I've had. In my 7th grade AVID class we were given a project to research jobs and make a PowerPoint on what we wanted to be in the future. I instantly started looking up all kinds of jobs but I kept coming back to criminology jobs. I decided to do my PowerPoint on criminal investigation, I spent hours researching this job and all the benefits and requirements for this job. When I was finished with my research I realized this is really what I wanted to do and it wasn't some random job I chose. From that point on I based my studies on what I needed in order to become a criminal investigator. I was in 7th grade planning what High School classes I should take and which college classes I needed to take for my future career. Over the years I was constantly asked in class what kind of job I wanted and what I want to do when I grow up, my classmates always changed their answers over the years but mine always stayed the same. I want to be a criminal investigator, there's so much that comes with the job and I know that it's what I want, and something I can do. I was always told my plans would change growing up and that I wouldn't actually want to become a criminal investigator in the end. I always told people they were liars and I still do, because for years I've tried to find a job that would be an alternative but I always come back to the same one I am now a freshman in college attending The College of Idaho majoring in Sociology and minoring in Criminology, Communications and Human Performance. I still have the same dream as I did when I was in the 7th grade except now I'm actually choosing the classes I want to take and my dream is finally coming true.

I have been a softball player most of my life I fell in love with this sport the moment I stepped on the field. My goal has always been to play softball at the college level and to study Criminal Justice. When they say sports test you both physically and mentally, they don’t lie. When they say that you must have a passion and a heart for a sport to be successful, they don’t lie. I have it all; the drive, the passion, the focus, the determination, and the love for this sport. During these last 10+ years, I’ve had to overcome every hurdle this sport and the people in it have thrown at me. Whether it be physical or mental, I have always pushed myself to be better, do better, and come back better. I never knew how strong I would have to be until these last two years have tested every ounce of my physical and mental strength. I had my first surgery in 11/2020 due to ligaments stretched beyond repair and a small tear. This took me away from softball for almost 5 months, during this time I lost friends and family in the softball community that I thought would always be there. The team that I helped build in the community decided I no longer was a good fit for them and let me go during my recovery time. The friends I thought would always be there decided to no longer be. I started to doubt my abilities as a player until early February when I meet a coach that gave me a chance to come back even when I wasn’t cleared to play. I began to push myself in physical therapy and work twice as hard to prove to others that nothing would stop me. I was partially clear in March to begin lite activity but not too much as I was still building my strength. My coaches allowed me to practice at my own pace, worked with me, helped me adjust in every aspect to ensure I wasn’t getting hurt, encouraged me to take the time to properly heal and ensured me I already had a spot on this team. By the end of March, I was clear to play in my first tournament and I was both excited and scared to take a step on that field again. I still had one small requirement- no running! My coaches told me I could bat and once I hit first base, they would switch me out, so I wasn’t running. They never once made me feel like my comeback was a burden on them or their team. And for this I came back stronger than ever, I pushed myself every chance I got to be better and do better. I soaked up everything I learned from them in the short amount of time they were coaching (they retired at the end of summer). They were truly like no other coaches I have ever had; they would push us but never in a ‘talk down to you kind of way’, they would teach us, they would encourage us, and they would build us up. One year later from taking my life back, I found out I would have to have my second surgery, this time a lateral release of the left knee due to tendonitis and my kneecap not sitting properly in place. It feels like starting over again like I did two years ago but thanks to the best two coaches I know I can do it all over again…and I am!
