I am a diligent, dedicated, and ambitious student passionate about bridging the gender gap in Engineering. I am a Senior at Liberty High School. My current subjects are AP Physics 1, AP Calculus BC, Computer Science 3 (comes after AP), AP Literature, AP Seminar, AP U.S. History, Business Information Management, and 3D Modelling and Animation. I will major in Computer Science with Honors at UT Dallas in Fall 2024. I am also passionate about Biotechnology, where I conducted lab research experiments with CRISPR technology and Zebrafish (presented at international and national science fairs).
I moved to the U.S. in late October of my Junior year. I was in the top 25% of my graduating class last year. My experience studying at ten schools on four continents (including three high schools) makes me the recipient of global education. I am fluent in English and Hindi. I have also self-studied Chinese (having two high school credits).
Despite the challenges of relocating, I strive to do my best in all I do. Facing challenges allowed me to empathize with others. I became a peer mentor to help new students.
I served as the Director of Public Relations (2022-23) and am currently my school's Treasurer for Aid4Need Club. I am also a Voice4Need Ambassador. Aid4Need is a non-profit organization that organizes activities to impact the community and Voice4Need is its blog. I volunteered for 950 hours in high school despite being unable to volunteer much during 9th and 10th Grade due to Australia's strict lockdowns. I got recognized several times through awards, shoutouts, and spotlights.
