Bio

My main life goal is to become a successful veterinarian, but I also wish to be wise and know everything about everything. Two passions I've always had are mathematics and singing. I've participated in many math competitions and will earnestly continue to study it in college. I have also been persistently taking vocal training courses in the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico, participated in school concerts, and performed at the National Schools Choral Festival at Carnegie Hall. Moreover, art can be added to the list. I have been taking classes since I was little and have gradually been improving my skills independently. I have many interests. Too many to mention. This is why I am here. With scholarship opportunities, I am able to apply to my dream colleges and finally satisfy my insatiable desire to expand my abilities and capabilities in all of my passions.

      Scholarcash Role Model Scholarship
As I thought of a role model, the first thing that came to mind was my bulldog Bella. I mean... Who wouldn't want to sleep all day and receive endless affection just for being cute? Anyway, this was not an easy question to answer. I have many role models, along with my many passions. I love to sing, draw, write, play tennis, and even do math in my free time. These interests have led me to follow different people in my life, so I would be lying if I said I had only one. Nonetheless, I had to choose, and I did. I decided on someone very close to me. Try to guess as I write my story... When I met this person, we were close. So close that we were inseparable for months, and we still are. It's a person who I grew up with during my childhood and with whom I've had many good and bad experiences. It's a person who I've only recently started admiring. He used to be childish and immature, but during these last two years, I've watched him grow and develop into someone I aspire to be. One day, he decided to change his life. He decided he was going to stop being lazy and work for what he wanted. He began by exercising every day. Every. Single. Day. He did this for hours and always ended up shaky and bathed in sweat. Not only this, but he was also determined to learn to surf and tried as much as he could to practice under the fiery sun. All of this, while focusing on his studies and developing his social skills. Not a single time did he think of giving up. He continued and committed to it, and from one day to the other, he became what I consider to be a role model. To watch someone become the best they can be and even become one of my role models is one of the main reasons I've chosen him to answer this question. He has acquired many of the qualities that I'm now working hard to get and has shown me how to obtain them through his journey. His name is Alfredo Fabián Frontera Del Valle, and he's my twin brother. It's incredible how some of the most influential people in our lives are the ones we least expect. I've lived with Fabian for all of my life. Of course, he'll have an impact, but we tend to overlook their benefits. Fabian and I live entirely different lives. He's extroverted and loves to be active while I'm introverted and have an insatiable thirst for knowledge. We don't even look alike, but we complement each other in ways that no one else could because our differences make us the best we can be. We have learned so much from each other and will continue to do so until one of us loses its other half. In a way, it's as if we've shaped each other. As if we are role models for one another.
      Bold Moments No-Essay Scholarship
Due to my school's previous achievements, I had the opportunity to perform at the National Schools Choral Festival at the almighty Carnegie Hall! After lots of practice and rehearsals with my school director Carlos H. Vázquez and conductor Dr. Eph Ehly, I was able to sing proudly with many other choir members from around the nation. It was challenging and nerve-racking, but the relationships and experiences that were made throughout the whole journey will stay with me for the rest of my life.
