I am a first-year electrical engineering student at Georgia Tech from Marietta, Georgia who has a passion for learning about STEM. I've always enjoyed taking math and science classes because they teach me how to think logically and learn about what's going on in the world. With this degree, I would like to work in either the tech industry or the automotive industry and help design, build, and test parts and make an impact on future generations.
I have also loved music all of my life whether I'm listening, humming, singing, or playing it. I've been playing the violin in orchestra since 2015 and I just started learning how to play the kalimba. I specifically enjoy pop music, show tunes, and Glee covers the most. I also like arts and crafts. I may not be the best at drawing and painting, but I like learning crochet and embroidery. Playing instruments and making crafts makes me feel like I have talent.
In addition to all of this, I like getting involved with my community through volunteering at church and school events. I've been doing many things such as going to a senior home, planning a Mother's Day brunch, and more since 2016. Helping others and making a difference is a great feeling.
