Hello! As an extremely versatile student, I take pride in my efforts to improve myself outside of the classroom. I am a deeply involved, passionate, and active member of my community who thrives in motivating others. On top of being on the executive board in two UF clubs, I also run and participate in my not-for-profit organization. In the future, I am determined to earn a Master of Science degree in Finance as well as own an investment firm. I hope to facilitate financial growth among my clients with an experienced and professional team of financial analysts. With leadership, I will work hard to build not only myself but my future employees too. Through the journeys that I will undertake in life, I know that I will be able to improve myself and help others wherever I go.

Biomedical engineering: the power of some and the weakness of others. Hello all, my name is Aidan Lubin and I am currently a senior in high school. Throughout my life, the mathematics-centric career of engineering has indirectly fascinated me. Every drive home from school, I’d pass by telephone towers, people with prosthetic limbs, and traffic lights. Curious as to how they worked, my elementary-self watched YouTube videos. At the time, the provided explanations seemed rather confusing. Eager to understand, I continued to ask myself questions. What causes a certain computer to run faster than another? What procedures do companies use to build self-driving cars? How do X-ray scans work? This desire to know eventually turned into my love for the career of biomedical engineering. Rather than being the person who only asks questions, I seek to become the person that answers them as well! Through extensive studying and a little optimism, I will find ways to create biomedical technology in order to help others. Whether I am creating energy-saving parts for CT scans or developing affordable heart monitors, I will work to revolutionize modern medicine. As a person, I consider myself to be creative, explorative, and a problem solver. Through biomedical engineering, I’ve found a major that challenges my intellect and allows me to save others. To further satisfy my inquisitions and curiosities, I will devote my time in college towards becoming a biomedical engineer.

Upon the completion of my nightly homework, I often find myself looking for something to do. In most cases, I try listening to podcasts, reading the news, and watching YouTube videos. As a student that aspires to become the owner of a biomedical/pharmaceutical company, I enjoy spending time learning about personal finance. Without a doubt, my three favorite sources for personal finance are The Penny Hoarder Daily, Anthony O’Neal, and Peter Adeney (Mr. Money Mustache). With stories, tips, tricks, and advice, I highly recommend these three sources as they’ve infinitely helped prepare me for the world of business.

Hello, my name is Aidan Lubin. As a lower-income student, I rarely take the time to go online shopping. Nevertheless, whenever I need to purchase school items such as a calculator or textbook, I resort to online websites. Through trial and error, I've come to realize that my three favorite places to shop are eBay, Amazon, and BestBuy. With affordable prices and convenient shipping times, I can acquire all of the items that I need!

It was a historic Friday evening on September 20th, 2019. The bleachers were packed with fans for the Trojan's rivalry football game against the Jaguars. The game, deemed the "Swamp Bowl", had a record-breaking turnout of fans. In the pictures, the members of my student-run organization (the VellaFellas) and I, proceeded to step outside of our comfort zones to hype up the giant crowd. In front of hundreds of people, I boldly climbed on top of my friend's shoulders and began to chant our team's fight song. The night was magical, and the memories that I made were unforgettable.
