I am deeply passionate about serving underserved communities, particularly through the field of medicine. With roots in Mexico, and later living in San Antonio and Austin, I’ve developed a profound understanding of cultural diversity and socioeconomic disparities. These experiences have shaped my dedication to helping others, particularly those from immigrant and low-income backgrounds. My leadership in a research lab, where I mentored new members, as well as my volunteer work as a medical translator and my involvement in refugee support programs, reflect my commitment to making a difference. I am driven by a desire to provide quality care to those who need it most. The resilience and passion I’ve cultivated throughout my academic journey and community service make me an excellent candidate for a future in medicine, where continual learning and compassionate service are essential.
