Many young students have detailed, aspirational goals for their futures but don’t have the resources necessary to pursue them.

Financial limitations can prevent even the most dedicated and bright students from affording a college education. With the costs of tuition, books, room and board, and required technology all on the rise, an increasing number of passionate students are losing access to the lives of their dreams.

This scholarship aims to support students of Chesapeake Public Schools as they prepare to embark on their academic journeys by lowering the financial barriers posed by higher education.

Any high school senior at Deep Creek High School, Grassfield High School, Great Bridge High School, Hickory High School, Indian River High School, or Oscar Smith High School in Virginia may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they have at least a 3.0 GPA and if they will pursue a form of higher education after high school.

To apply, tell us about your academic and professional goals as well as the challenges you have faced in life. Additionally, upload a letter of recommendation from a faculty member or staff at your school.
