Women’s History Scholarship
“The most difficult thing is the decision to act; the rest is merely tenacity,” -Amelia Earhart.
Women have overcome countless obstacles in the fight for equality, led by inspiring women like Susan B. Anthony, Maya Angelou, and countless others. In honor of Women’s History Month, it’s important to reflect on the needs of modern women in the face of today’s problems.
Despite female college students now outnumbering their male counterparts, women are still underrepresented in leadership positions and earn only 82 cents for every dollar earned by men.
In order to offset this wage gap and help women break into male-dominated fields, such as engineering, government, and tech, it’s critical that women have the necessary resources to follow through on their goals.
This scholarship seeks to support female students so they can complete their degrees and go on to promising careers.
Any high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student who identifies as female may apply for this scholarship.
