Vicki Sartin's Purpose in Nursing Scholarship
Being a single mother is difficult as it is, so when single mothers decide to take on the new challenges of college, it can be much more of a hurdle.
However, single mothers going back to earn their education often have the kind of persistence and dedication to persevere through these difficulties. With that being said, it isn’t easy to balance being a mother, supporting a family, and pursuing education. As a way to support single mothers earning their nursing degrees, Vicki Sartin’s Purpose in Nursing Scholarship will offer financial assistance to passionate single mothers.
To apply, you must be a single mother pursuing a nursing degree. In your application, please share how you balance being a parent while attending school and include what inspired you to become a nurse.
