TeluguPeople for America Scholarship
Young adult fiction author Tiffany D. Jackson once said, “be strategic and resilient in the pursuit of your dreams.”
Everyone has dreams of what they want to accomplish or do in their lives. Some dreams are bigger or smaller than others, but they are all valuable and teach students to create goals that can help achieve those dreams. We believe in helping hard-working, economically disadvantaged, students in the pursuit of their dreams. The TeluguPeople for America Scholarship is sponsored by the Kotha family in loving memory of their father, Sundara Ramaiah Kotha. This scholarship will offer opportunities for students earning their bachelor’s degree, in hopes that they succeed and go on to support causes they believe in.
Students pursuing their bachelor’s degree at a public university are eligible to apply if they come from a low-income background, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and are involved in their community. This scholarship is specifically for students majoring in science, engineering, technology, business, finance, or other related fields. Preference will be given to students with student loans. To apply, share about your family circumstances, how you have fought against adversity, and how your dreams seek to solve real-world problems.
1. Please tell us about yourself and your family. How have your circumstances shaped your thinking?
2. Help us understand your fight against adversity.
3. Please share your dream(s) - how do your dreams fit into solving real-world problems?
