Support Small Businesses Scholarship
Local businesses are essential for the economic development of their communities.
Small businesses go through many difficulties, often battling through economic hardship to be able to provide for the residents of their area.
Local business owners across the country often find that starting up their business requires significant resources, money, and time.
To support the needs of small businesses, Bold.org is creating the Support Small Businesses Scholarship for members of the small business community.
The scholarship is open to anyone who has a small business, who plans to start a small business, or who has parents who are small business owners.
To apply, you must write about your relationship to the small business community and what you hope to achieve with your business, future business, or parent's business.
Bold.org will be awarding a scholarship each day in November to celebrate National Scholarship Month. Follow along on Bold.org's Instagram and TikTok for daily announcements of scholarships and winners!
What is your relationship to the small business community? If you have a business, what are your goals? If you plan to start a business, what do you hope to achieve?

We will work with donors to review all applications according to the scholarship criteria. Winners will be chosen based on the merit of their application.
Award checks will be sent to the financial aid office of the winner's academic institution or future academic institution in their name to be applied to their tuition, and in the name of their institution (depending on the school's requirements). If the award is for a qualified educational non-tuition expense, we will work with the winner directly to distribute the award and make sure it goes towards qualified expenses.
Before we award the scholarship, the winner will be required to confirm their academic enrollment status. Depending on the circumstances, verification of Student ID and/or their most recent transcript will be required.
