Rogers Family Award for Grit
As college degrees become increasingly necessary for many fields of study, many students feel as though a four-year college education is the only path forward after high school.
While traditional degrees should be accessible to those who are interested, there are other routes that can lead to success in their own ways. Vocational school is a great option for students interested in the trades, presenting an often cheaper path to a stable job.
This scholarship aims to support students who are pursuing careers in the field of automotive mechanics so they can complete their degrees.
Any undergraduate or trade school student who is pursuing technology, automotive repair, or heavy machinery repair may apply for this scholarship.
To apply, tell us what made you choose the field you’re pursuing and where you see yourself in five years.

Award checks will be sent to the financial aid office of the winner's academic institution in their name to be applied to their tuition, and in the name of their institution (depending on the school's requirements). If the award is for a qualified educational non-tuition expense, we will work with the winner directly to distribute the award and make sure it goes towards qualified expenses.
