RAD Scholarship for Arizona Undergrads
Rob Dollar was an incredible man, son, and friend who sadly passed away in a cycling accident. Rob had a great passion for cycling and a deep love for riding and for the community that supported him in his endeavors.
In memory of Rob, his father and best friend created the Rob Dollar Foundation to honor Rob’s love for cycling by raising awareness of danger and improving safety for other cyclists.
In 2022 alone, there were 1,360 bicycle-related deaths, a number that has been on the rise. The majority of these deaths are preventable and were the result of motor vehicle traffic collisions. This crisis calls for improvements in the strategies used today to keep cyclists safe on the roads.
This scholarship aims to honor the life of Rob Dollar by supporting students who hope to make a difference in the overall road safety for pedestrians and cyclists.
