Music is such a powerful healing element across many cultures. Everyone has music that reminds them of a nostalgic times that brought them great happiness. Listening to a favorite song or album can help promote relaxation and happiness, which in turn reduces stress on the human body. Nursing is an excellent way to give back to the community through the healing acts that nurses perform for the community members. It’s important because there has been quite a shortage of nurses, which does not positively influence the care that the community receives especially as we are still experiencing a pandemic. I want to be apart of the solution that promotes health in the community.
