Omniwomyn Empowerment Scholarship
Women and minorities have a more difficult time in business because of the gender gap that still exists between men and women in upper-level positions.
And yet, women and minorities have the potential to be just as successful as their male counterparts, if they are given the resources. In order to encourage women who are pursuing higher education or starting their own business, the Omniwomyn Empowerment Scholarship will support minority women on their journey to professional careers.
This scholarship will support minority women from low-income backgrounds as they pursue either a college education or work to create their own business. Students in high school, undergraduate school, or graduate school are eligible to apply if they possess leadership skills and a drive to make a splash in their industry. To apply, write about your journey as a minority woman, your passions, and how this scholarship will help you pursue your career.
Describe your journey as a minority woman, your passions, and what career you seek to pursue with the support of the scholarship.
