Trade Scholarship
Being skilled in the trades can lead to many career opportunities as there is a shortage of tradespeople.
While vocational education enrollment dipped in the 1980s and 1990s, it has risen in recent decades due to the many fields that are growing without requiring a traditional four-year degree, such as infrastructure and manufacturing. As more jobs open in the trades, the next generation of workers needs to be supported throughout their education.
This scholarship aims to help high school seniors in Ohio or Pennsylvania who are interested in attending trade school after graduation.
Any high school senior who wants to go to a trade school, or any student currently enrolled in a trade school may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
To apply, tell us which trade or trades you would like to learn and how you picture your optimal career and life.
