Military Student Debt Grant
Military members risk their lives every day for the protection of their country, often coming home and struggling with disabilities or disorders such as PTSD.
While PTSD rates vary based on the service era, with 15% of Vietnam War veterans developing PTSD as compared to 12% of Desert Storm veterans, PTSD can affect any military veteran. To cope, many veterans adopt pets or get service animals to deal with their stress.
This scholarship seeks to support military veterans by helping them pay off their debt and take care of their mental health.
Any military veteran who has student debt may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
To apply, write a short Instagram caption about what it means to have had the support of your pet (or your family’s pet)! Be sure to include your pet's name and a link to your Instagram. The best submissions will be featured on the Pettable Instagram! Please submit your Instagram handle link where it says "Enter your application link" below.
