M.H.M.A Black Excellence Scholarship
Despite increasing diversity in higher education and the workforce, many fields are still dominated by white workers.
The lucrative and ever-growing STEM field is one such example where Black workers are underrepresented, making up only 9% of employees in this field of the workforce. In order to create proportional representation throughout all sectors of the workforce, it’s critical to provide equal access to education.
This scholarship aims to support African American male students who are dedicated to making positive change in the world.
Any African American male undergraduate attending an HBCU who is involved in extracurriculars may apply for this scholarship. Extracurricular including but not limited to chess, debate team, music, sports, robotics etc.
