Lucas Jeffery STEAM Scholarship
Students often feel pressured to choose their life path and focus at an early age, which can discourage them from pursuing creative endeavors.
When students pigeonhole themselves into strict paths, they lose out on the benefits of being multifaceted and well-rounded. The arts and the sciences, though different, often go hand in hand and can help balance each other out. Staying committed to both pursuits is critical for building long-term success and happiness.
This scholarship seeks to support students who are multifaceted and committed to both STEM and the arts.
Any high school senior at Southside Charter High School in Arkansas who can show commitment to STEM by completing science and math classes in all four years of high school, while also demonstrating a love for the arts by completing two years in band, choir, theater, writing, or other fine art classes may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
