Justin David Valle Scholarship
In order to persist through life’s greatest challenge, it takes someone with exceptional inner strength and a drive to persevere.
Students who are survivors of life-threatening illnesses or injuries have a unique perspective on life and have endured challenges that none of their peers have ever experienced. In order to overcome the struggles that come their way, they have to try their best to have a positive outlook on life and work hard to pursue their dreams. As a way of honoring the life of Justin David Valle, the Justin David Valle Scholarship will support students who have survived a life-threatening illness or injury as they reach for their goals.
High school students and undergraduate students are eligible to apply if they have survived a life-threatening illness or injury, whether they have conquered it or are still battling it. Preference will be given to Texas residents or students attending a Texas University. To apply, write about how you’ve maintained a positive outlook on life.
How have you maintained a positive outlook on life growing up with a life-threatening illness?
