Jennifer Hartwig Scholarship
Jennifer Hartwig was a beloved cousin who recently passed away at the age of 40 after a battle with colon cancer.
Jennifer loved writing and enjoyed sports. She was a strong woman who visited many states to try and solve the underlying riddle of how to beat stage four after she was diagnosed. Jen was a fighter and an amazing woman, wife, and mother, leaving behind two children.
This scholarship aims to honor the memory of Jennifer Hartwig by supporting students who share her love for journalism and sports.
Any high school or undergraduate student who is a hard worker with at least a 3.0 GPA may apply for this scholarship if they’re pursuing sports or journalism.
