James Diorato Memorial Scholarship
Aviation is at the forefront of the transportation industry, connecting the furthest parts of the world, fostering exploration, and bringing people together.
However, the field can be difficult to pursue, especially due to the significant financial investments a student must make in order to become a pilot. In addition to the high costs of classes, many students struggle to afford paying for flight fees for their necessary training.
This scholarship aims to honor the life of James Diorato by supporting the next generation of pilots and aviators and reducing the financial burden of entering the field. James Diorato spent his entire aviation career at JFK International Airport in New York.
Any high school or undergraduate student who is majoring in aviation may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
