Jacob Naumann Memorial Scholarship
Jacob graduated high school and worked for his family business for a few years before deciding to pursue his music degree. He went back to school while working full time and raising two small children so that he could make his dream to work in music a reality. He received his Associate's Degree in Audio Engineering and Production from Vatterott College Extreme Institute and SWIC and graduated in 2018. He opened his own DJ business, SyLo Sounds, named after his children Sylas and Lorelei, and played at weddings and other events. His long-term goal was to become an Audio Engineer at a large venue. Unfortunately, Jacob was unable to make this dream a reality as he lost his life at the young age of 29.
This scholarship will assist someone who is pursuing a career in music, in the memory of a very special father, son, and brother.
Any high school junior or senior, undergraduate, or graduate who lives in MO or IL is able to apply for this scholarship.
