Iannini Prize
The Iannini Prize is a distinguished scholarship established to support and celebrate graduating seniors from Marlborough High School who have shown outstanding academic achievement, active participation in school sports or clubs, and a commitment to volunteerism. This merit-based award seeks to recognize students who excel in their studies and contribute significantly to their community and school environment.
Any graduating senior at Marlborough High School who demonstrates academic excellence, participation in school sports or clubs, and volunteerism may apply for this scholarship. Students pursuing any form of higher education after graduation are welcome to apply, including those pursuing 2-year degrees, 4-year degrees, or trade school.
To apply, please submit the following:
Essay: Submit a 500-word essay addressing what makes you uniquely qualified compared to other candidates and why you deserve the Iannini Prize. Your essay should highlight what sets you apart beyond your extracurriculars, credentials and grades. Essays will be evaluated not only for their content, but also for proper grammar and correct spelling. While academics and extracurriculars will be heavily weighted in the evaluation process, your essay is the chance to rise to the top. It's a critical piece of your application and incidental in being selected as the award winner.
Academic Records: Upload your most recent grade transcript.
GPA and Class Rank: Provide documentation of your Grade Point Average and class rank.
Resume: Attach a current resume detailing your educational achievements, extracurricular involvement, volunteer work, and any other pertinent information that supports your application.
