Hobbies Matter
School is crucial, but grades and test scores aren’t everything: people with hobbies and interests tend to have a more well-rounded and enjoyable life.
Having hobbies allows students to take a break from the everyday school days and engage in activities special to them. This could be sports, arts, movies, clubs, and so much more. Everyone’s hobbies make them unique and give them their own set of specialties and interests. To encourage students in the pursuit of their hobbies, the Hobbies Matter scholarship seeks to award two students who are passionate about the hobbies they engage in.
Any student can apply if they are in high school, undergraduate or graduate school. To apply, write about one of your favorite hobbies and what it means to you.

Award checks will be sent to the financial aid office of the winner's academic institution or future academic institution in their name to be applied to their tuition, and in the name of their institution (depending on the school's requirements). If the award is for a qualified educational non-tuition expense, we will work with the winner directly to distribute the award and make sure it goes towards qualified expenses.
Before we award the scholarship, the winner will be required to confirm their academic enrollment status. Depending on the circumstances, verification of Student ID and/or their most recent transcript will be required.
