Harry D Thomson Memorial Scholarship
“Freedom lies in being bold.” ― Robert Frost
Harry D Thomson always had to work hard to achieve his goals. He learned to do as much as he could on his own when building, repairing, and maintaining his homes and vehicles, in order to be independent and self-sufficient.
He graduated from Boston Technical High School in 1964, enlisted in the Army Reserves, and was an employee of Teradyne, Inc. Boston, MA, for many years.
This scholarship will honor Harry D Thomson by supporting students in Massachusetts who work hard to achieve their goals.
High school juniors and seniors in Massachusetts may apply. Vocational high school students are especially encouraged to apply.
To apply, share your story and explain how this scholarship will aid you in reaching your aspirations. Please include skills you have learned and developed during your high school years which have allowed you to become more independent and how you plan to use these skills as you move forward.
