Grace Lynn Ross Memorial Scholarship
The death of a child is extremely difficult, especially for children who knew and were close to the victim. Michelle Ross’ daughter, Grace Lynn Ross, was tragically murdered in March of 2021.
There is no footprint too small to leave an imprint on this world. The Grace Lynn Ross Memorial Scholarship wishes to help someone reach their dreams of completing their education by assisting children to get past tragedies or helping students interested in criminal justice to advocate for victims and their families.
The Grace Lynn Ross Memorial Scholarship aims to honor Grace by supporting students pursuing a career in criminal justice or child psychology/grief counseling.
High school seniors and undergraduates seeking a degree in criminal justice or child psychology/grief counseling may apply. Those who have lost a loved one to violence or murder are especially encouraged to apply.
To apply, please tell us why you decided to pursue a degree in your chosen field and how you plan to use your degree to make an impact on the lives of others.

Award checks will be sent to the financial aid office of the winner's academic institution or future academic institution in their name to be applied to their tuition, and in the name of their institution (depending on the school's requirements). If the award is for a qualified educational non-tuition expense, we will work with the winner directly to distribute the award and make sure it goes towards qualified expenses.
Before we award the scholarship, the winner will be required to confirm their academic enrollment status. Depending on the circumstances, verification of Student ID and/or their most recent transcript will be required.
