Gottfried Scholarship
Opportunities often present themselves to people who work hard, respect others, and spend time networking and making connections. And yet, circumstances also play into what opportunities students can get.
The opportunity to attend college can be taken for granted by some, but the chance to continue on to higher education gives students incredible experiences. The Gottfried Scholarship will support an incoming college freshman financially to help them achieve their goals through education. Alongside financial opportunities, mentors can serve as an example in education, leadership, and the fulfillment of goals. High school seniors from Alabama are eligible to apply if they have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and are in good standing with their school. Preference will be given to students who have been involved in community service and other activities.
To apply, create a short video that describes your future goals and how a mentorship program could help you in achieving these goals.

If the award is for a qualified educational non-tuition expense, we will work with the winner directly to distribute the award and make sure it goes towards qualified expenses.
Before we award the scholarship, the winner will be required to confirm their academic enrollment status. Depending on the circumstances, verification of Student ID and/or their most recent transcript will be required.
