Girls Ready to Empower Girls
With the wage gap persisting, economic empowerment is crucial for young women as they pursue their dreams and enter adulthood.
With limited mentors in the professional world and persistent discrimination, especially in male-dominated fields, it’s important for women to support other women throughout their careers in order to bring about gender parity in the workforce.
This scholarship seeks to support ambitious women who have big dreams for the future and histories of helping their communities.
Any female community college student planning to transfer to a four-year university or four-year undergraduate student who transferred from a community college may apply for this scholarship if they have community service experience.
To apply, tell us about a time when a woman motivated or helped you with your pursuit of your educational or professional goals.
Please write about a time when a woman in your life has inspired you or supported you on your education or career journey.
