Generational Impact Award
In the words of Nelson Mandela, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
For many students, families, and communities, education is a tool that allows them to advance and innovate. Education empowers communities with the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary for both personal and collective success. Unfortunately, financial limitations make college inaccessible to many people from underserved communities, limiting their future options.
This scholarship aims to open doors for students pursuing their educational and career dreams—whether that’s college, vocational, or technical school—so they can make a positive impact on the world. Any student at Dillard High School in Florida may apply, with a strong preference for those planning to attend HBCUs.
To apply, reflect on the importance of supporting underrepresented communities and how you plan to make a difference for these communities. Additionally, upload a headshot or senior portrait.

Award checks will be sent to the financial aid office of the winner's academic institution or future academic institution in their name to be applied to their tuition, and in the name of their institution (depending on the school's requirements). If the award is for a qualified educational non-tuition expense, we will work with the winner directly to distribute the award and make sure it goes towards qualified expenses.
