Freedom for Disabled Students Scholarship
Students with disabilities are often placed at a disadvantage in the academic sphere due to a lack of accommodations in school.
The unique physical or mental needs of students with disabilities often aren’t met in their schools. From ramps to counselors to one-on-one classes, the accessibility tools that students with disabilities would benefit from often aren’t provided. As a result, students with disabilities have to work harder than their peers just to complete their education.
This scholarship seeks to support students with disabilities so they can stay motivated throughout their educational journey and complete their degrees.
Any high school or undergraduate student in Mississippi who has a disability may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
