First-Generation College Students Scholarship
A college degree is a transformational milestone in life, especially for those who are attending as the first generation in their family.
First-generation college students are trailblazers. They are often extremely academically prepared, and highly talented. They serve as role models for younger siblings in cousins within their family, and they carry the dreams of their parents and grandparents on their shoulders.
The First-Generation College Students Scholarship is meant to support and encourage these students as they take on the biggest educational milestone thus far in their lives. This $500 award will help high school seniors or current undergraduate students who are the first in their family to attend college or university pay their tuition or student loans.

Award checks will be sent to the financial aid office of the winner's academic institution or future academic institution in their name to be applied to their tuition, and in the name of their institution (depending on the school's requirements). If the award is for a qualified educational non-tuition expense, we will work with the winner directly to distribute the award and make sure it goes towards qualified expenses.
