Financial Literacy Importance Scholarship
The way we manage our money can heavily impact our lives.
Poorly-managed finances can keep you from living comfortably and achieving your goals, such as owning a car or buying a house. Since college is expensive, it is commonly known that college students don’t often have much money to spare. College is a time where it’s extremely important to learn how to manage your personal finances. For that reason, the Financial Literacy Importance Scholarship will award a deserving student who understands why it’s important to manage their money.
Any current student is eligible to apply if they work to manage their money well. To apply, write about why it is important to manage your finances well and what techniques you use to be smart with your money.
Why is it important for you to manage your finances as a student? What do you do to manage your finances well?

Award checks will be sent to the financial aid office of the winner's academic institution or future academic institution in their name to be applied to their tuition, and in the name of their institution (depending on the school's requirements). If the award is for a qualified educational non-tuition expense, we will work with the winner directly to distribute the award and make sure it goes towards qualified expenses.
Before we award the scholarship, the winner will be required to confirm their academic enrollment status. Depending on the circumstances, verification of Student ID and/or their most recent transcript will be required.
