Empowering Motherhood Scholarship
Mothers have a profound influence on shaping successive generations. They nurture and guide children through their lives, providing indispensable support and encouragement essential for them to set and achieve goals. Many mothers sacrifice pursuing their education or postpone it in favor of other endeavors, such as prioritizing caring for their children or taking on work to ensure financial stability.
At VeryVery, our mission is to simplify the lives of mothers. We recognize that education is a powerful tool for personal growth, empowerment, and making a difference in the world. The impact of educated mothers transcends the immediate family sphere, as they actively contribute to the workforce, economy, and local communities. They often become community leaders, advocates, and role models, fostering a ripple effect of accomplishments that radiate positive change throughout their communities. Nevertheless, attending college presents formidable challenges, requiring substantial time and financial commitments, making it difficult for mothers to obtain a college degree.
The Empowering Motherhood Scholarship acknowledges the unique challenges that mothers face when seeking to further their education. These remarkable women skillfully balance the demands of family responsibilities, jobs, attending classes, and completing school assignments. This scholarship is a dedicated effort to provide a stepping stone for these exceptional women, recognizing that their personal and professional growth serves as an example to their children and contributes to the growth of future generations.
The eligibility criteria for this scholarship encompass individuals who are mothers and hold either U.S. citizenship or permanent legal residency. This opportunity is available to high school seniors, undergraduates, and graduate students.
