Edward Feliciano Mentoring Nurse Anesthesia Scholarship
Nurse anesthetists are critical to the safety and wellness of patients during and after surgery, filling a crucial role. Unfortunately, the cost of pursuing a degree in nurse anesthesia can be overwhelming and can discourage even the most hardworking and ambitious students.
This scholarship aims to honor the life of Edward Feliciano by supporting students who are pursuing nurse anesthesia and are passionate about mentoring others so they can afford to complete their degrees.
Edward Feliciano was an amazing nurse, son, husband, friend, and would have been an amazing nurse anesthesia student. His smile and energy lit up every room he entered. He had an infectious curiosity and desire for learning. His time here on Earth was cut short, but his legacy will live forever.
Any high school, undergraduate, or graduate student who is pursuing a career in nurse anesthesia and has demonstrated a passion for motivating and mentoring others may apply for this scholarship.
To apply, tell us how you’ve been a mentor or motivator to others, what being a mentor means to you, and what inspired you to pursue a degree in nurse anesthesia.
How you have been a mentor and motivated others during your journey? What does it mean to you to be a mentor? Also, what led you to pursue a degree in nurse anesthesia?
