Drougas Trade Scholarship
While it is common for students to go to college after high school, earning a college degree isn’t the only option after high school, nor is it the right option for everyone.
Various trades, such as plumbing, electrical work, technicians, carpenters, and other related professions require training and skill. The Drougas Trade Scholarship will support a student interested in going into the trades for their career. This scholarship will serve to help them achieve their career aspirations as well as remind them of the importance of the field they have chosen.
High school seniors or current trade school students in New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont are eligible to apply if they are currently attending or planning to attend trade school. To apply, write about why you chose the career path you did.

Award checks will be sent to the financial aid office of the winner's academic institution or future academic institution in their name to be applied to their tuition, and in the name of their institution (depending on the school's requirements). If the award is for a qualified educational non-tuition expense, we will work with the winner directly to distribute the award and make sure it goes towards qualified expenses.
Before we award the scholarship, the winner will be required to confirm their academic enrollment status. Depending on the circumstances, verification of Student ID and/or their most recent transcript will be required.
