Dr. Noelle Olson Memorial Scholarship
Dr. Noelle Olson was a beloved daughter, family member, and friend who passed away suddenly in March of 2024.
Noelle attended Big Lake High School and St. Olaf College, and then went on to obtain her PhD from the University of Minnesota. Noelle led a remarkable career and worked as a scientist at 3M prior to passing away. Many female students face obstacles when pursuing careers in science due to stereotypes, male-dominated classrooms, and having few female mentors to look up to.
This scholarship seeks to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Noelle Olson by supporting the next generation of women pursuing STEM-related careers.
Any female high school senior at Big Lake High School in Minnesota may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they plan to pursue a four-year degree in STEM.
