Davila Scholarship
Drunk driving destroys many lives and families, yet many people still do it.
More than 10,000 people are killed each year in the US due to drunk driving, amounting to 28 people each day. Young people are responsible for many of these deaths, as 42% of fatal crashes are caused by drunk drivers between the ages of 16 to 24.
This scholarship aims to raise awareness about the dangers of drunk driving.
Any high school senior who will be attending a two or four-year institution may apply, but Latinx students and individuals involved in the performing arts or in marching band will receive preference.
To apply, tell us about yourself and your goals, as well as how drunk driving has impacted your life.
