Charlie Akers Memorial Scholarship
Charlie Akers, was a man that would give you the shirt off of his back even if it was his last. He didn't have a lot of money, nor a lot of possessions, but would give to his family, his friends, neighbors and community in any way he could.
Charlie Akers Memorial Scholarship seeks to keep Charlie Aker's legacy alive by helping students who are passionate about spreading positivity within their own community the same way that he did.
This scholarship aims to honor the memory of Charlie Akers by supporting first-generation college students.
Any first-generation student who has volunteering experience may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
