Bookman 5 Scholarship
Education is vitally important. However, it can often be difficult to attain, especially for students with financial constraints.
As college becomes increasingly expensive, those without family resources are at risk of being left behind. The average cost of college, including living expenses and supplies, is now $35,331 per year, forcing many students to rely on loans.
This scholarship aims to support students who are underprivileged or living under difficult circumstances.
Any African American undergraduate student who has a 2.0 GPA or higher, is involved in their community or church, and is interested in psychology, biology, education, engineering, or ministry may apply. The first-place winner will receive $1,000, and the runner-up will receive $500.
To apply, tell us about the difficulties you’ve overcome, why college is important to you, and how you will use your degree to improve the lives of your family or community.
