Bob Bartnett Memorial Scholarship
Bob Bartnett was an incredible man who exemplified compassion and dedication to community service throughout his life.
Bob dedicated more than twenty years to the betterment of the youth in his community, giving them many opportunities and imparting numerous life lessons. Bob was an amazing coach who gave his athletes gifts that extended far beyond athletics, teaching them how to be better both on and off the field.
This scholarship aims to honor the memory of Bob Bartnett by supporting students who share his passion for selfless service.
Any high school senior in at North Hunterdon High School in New Jersey may apply for this scholarship opportunity, but applicants who are active in athletics, theater, community service, or charity work are preferred.
To apply, submit a video of five minutes or less or an essay response answering the following prompts: 1. Tell us about yourself and why community service is important to you. 2. How have you demonstrated a commitment to your community during high school? 3. Who inspired you to do community service and how? 4. How do you hope to expand your assistance and impact on your community in your adult life? While videos are preferred, written essays are permitted.

The winner will be publicly announced on Jun 15, 2025. Prior to the announcement date, we may contact finalists with additional questions about their application. We will work with donors to review all applications according to the scholarship criteria. Winners will be chosen based on the merit of their application.
Award checks will be sent to the financial aid office of the winner's academic institution or future academic institution in their name to be applied to their tuition, and in the name of their institution (depending on the school's requirements). If the award is for a qualified educational non-tuition expense, we will work with the winner directly to distribute the award and make sure it goes towards qualified expenses.
Before we award the scholarship, the winner will be required to confirm their academic enrollment status. Depending on the circumstances, verification of Student ID and/or their most recent transcript will be required.
