Billy Downey Memorial Agriculture Scholarship
Agriculture is a vital part of our communities and society at large but often doesn’t get the recognition it deserves.
As the world’s largest industry, agriculture is not just critical for the health and sustenance of the world but also offers a plethora of career opportunities. Many students overlook the field and don’t consider pursuing a degree or career in it despite the many jobs available and the unique ability to make a lasting impact on their communities.
This scholarship seeks to support students who are interested in furthering their education in order to help their communities.
Any high school student with volunteering experience and community involvement who will pursue further education in agriculture may apply for this scholarship. Applicants who are FFA members and students at Crandall High School in Texas are preferred.
To apply, tell us how agriculture supports the community and how you will have a future impact.
