Artists and Writers in the Community Scholarship
“A true artist is not one who is inspired, but one who inspires others.” - Salvador Dali
Art plays a critical role in the world, yet many artists and writers are overlooked in the workforce. By supporting artists and writers throughout their education, the world benefits from their creativity.
This scholarship seeks to encourage artists and writers to complete their degrees and pursue their creative passions.
To apply for the scholarship, you must be an aspiring writer or artist who has an Associate’s degree and is pursuing a BA or MFA.
As part of applying, please answer each of the four questions below in 300 words or less. You must also share a PDF with some work from your portfolio to be considered for the scholarship.
