Anthony Hunter Community Service Scholarship
Anthony Hunter was a light and inspiration for so many until he suddenly passed away at 61 years old.
As the selfless man that he was, Anthony lived his life helping others, being spiritually strong, and being active in his personal and professional community.
He was a role model and mentor for anyone that needed him and inspired everyone that knew him, but especially the young black men in his community.
He motivated these young men to be catalysts for change in Harlem. In fact, Anthony never left Harlem and was proud of his community, working to make it better every day.
To honor his deeply impactful legacy, the Anthony Hunter Community Service Scholarship will go to one Black male high school senior who is active in their community and does ongoing community service unselfishly, humbly, and truly to help others.
To apply, please write about where you’re from, the ways in which you support your community, and how you hope your college studies will impact your mission to provide for your community.
