Our story

Wesley Beck was a vivacious, energetic, and social person born with a rare genetic disorder called Costello Syndrome. He had an incredible ability to reach people and make friends. His life and the life of our family were blessed by the amazing support given by students at his local high school involved in what is called the Peer Tutor Program, an elective class for those wanting to be of service to their differently abled classmates.

Our goal

Our family would like to honor Wesley’s memory by establishing a scholarship fund to support students in the Peer Tutor program interested in pursuing careers in Special Education, Physical and Occupational Therapy, or related fields. Our hope is that this financial support ensures that these young people have the resources necessary to take their kindness, compassion, and love into professions where they can continue to have a positive impact on others.
