Our story
Patty's funeral Visitation will be Saturday May, 25th, 2024 starting at 9am followed by a Reflection and Mass at 11am. Her family is asking for donations to this scholarship in her memory in lieu of flowers.
Patty Timmons believed in the power of education to support families and communities.
After divorcing and being a single mother, she earned her RN and then her Master's in Healthcare Administration. Her higher education allowed her a meaningful career to help her patients at hospitals, mental health clinics, research, and even into the prison system while also being able to support herself and her daughter.
Patty believed in second chances and giving people, especially women, opportunities to improve their lives, knowing this would create a ripple effect that would tenfold impact one's family and community.
Patty's compassion and devotion to helping others touched numerous individuals and continue to serve as an example of commitment and hard work to overcome adversity.
Our goal
This scholarship continues Patty's dedication to helping others and giving them the opportunity to change their lives.
